Braised Crispy Chicken Wings (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 500g Chicken Wings 10g Ginger 3 Cloves garlic 2 Spring Onions 2 Red Chillies 1 Tsp Ground White Pepper 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine 1 Tbsp Vinegar 10g Sugar 1 Tbsp Cornflour 20ml Water Mixture 300ml Chicken Stock Salt to Taste Method: 1. Slice garlic, ginger & chillies 2. Finely chop the spring onions 3. Cut the chicken wings into bite size chunks, place into a large mixing bowl 4. Add half the salt, cooking wine & white pepper 5. Mix ingredient together then leave to marinate for 5 minutes 6. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in the wok & fry the chicken wings until golden 7. Add garlic, ginger, half of the spring onions & fry for 5 seconds 8. Add chillies, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, remaining salt & cooking wine 9. Pour in the stock & bring to the boil. Cook for 10 minutes till meat is tender 10. Pour cornflour mixture into the wok, stir & cook for a minute 11.
