Chinese Coca Cola Chicken Wings (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. This is an excellent dish to have as a starter or for your buffet party, and children absolutely love it! Ingredients: 8 – 10 Chicken Wings 2 Spring Onions 0.5cm Ginger 5ml Soy Sauce 330ml Coca-Cola (1 can) Method: 1. Roughly chop spring onions 2. Slice the ginger 3. Cut off each end of the wings and use the middle parts. 4. Make 3 slashes on each wing. Reserve the meaty parts for another meal 5. Place wings into a pan with 1 litre of cold water 6. Add spring onion and ginger into the pan and bring to the boil 7. Boil for 5 minutes and remove from pan 8. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a frying pan 9. Place wings one at the time, fry for 5 minutes until golden 10. Pour in the coca cola and bring to the boil 11. Add soy sauce, turn heat to medium and continue to cook until all liquid has gone 12.
