Chinese Cola Tofu - Chinese Style Recipe Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 450g Tofu (cut into bite-size chunks) 700ml Cola 2 Cloves Garlic (thinly sliced) 4 Cloves 2 Bay Leaf 1 Star Anise 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce Method: 1. Heat a litre of oil in a wok over medium heat 2. Place tofu cubes in the wok, deep fry until lightly brown, remove from wok and drain 3. Place the cola in a pan, add garlic, cloves, bay leaf and star anise, bring to the boil 4. Add tofu and soy sauce, continue to cook until the liquid is almost gone 5.
