Chinese Crispy Fried Cumin Chicken (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 150g Chicken Breasts 1 Tbsp Ground Cumin 1Tbsp Sesame Seeds 1 Tbsp Ground Coriander 1 Tsp Chilli Powder (optional) 6 Tbsp Bread Crumbs or 3 Tbsp Cornflour Salt to Taste Method: 1. Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan for 1 – 1½ minutes. 2. Remove and grind until coarse. 3. Mix with cumin, coriander, chilli powder and salt in a bowl 4. Cut the chicken into thin strips and place in a mixing bowl. 5. Dust with the cornflour and toss, or toss in breadcrumbs 6. Heat 1 litre of oil in the wok until smoking hot 7. Deep fry the chicken strips for 8 minutes 8. Then remove and drain 9. Sprinkle with the spice mixture 10.
