Chinese Cumin Pork & Potatoes (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 100g Minced Pork 3 Medium Potatoes ½ Green Pepper ½ Red Pepper 10g Ginger 3 Cloves Garlic 3 Spring Onions 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds 1 Tbsp Cornflour 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil Salt to Taste Method: 1. Cut potatoes into bite-size cubes 2. Cut peppers into small cubes 3. Finely chop the ginger, garlic and spring onion 4. Place minced pork into a mixing bowl, add a pinch of salt, sesame oil, soy sauce and cornflour. Mix well 5. Place the potatoes in a saucepan with 1 litre of water, boil for 20 minutes till cooked 6. Remove the potatoes from saucepan and drain 7. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in the wok, fry potatoes for 10 minutes on medium low heat till golden. Remove from wok but leave oil in the wok 8. Add minced pork to the wok and fry for 5 minutes 9. Add cumin, peppers and salt, fry for 5 minutes 10. Add the potato, garlic, ginger and spring onion, fry for 3 minutes 11.
