Chinese Style Egg Bread Recipe (Xiao's Kitchen) Cooking Channel Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 100g Bread or Steamed Buns 2 Spring Onions 3 Eggs 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce Salt To Taste Method: 1. Cut bread into 1cm cubes 2. Finely chop the spring onions 3. Break eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and soy sauce. Beat and mix well 4. Add the spring onions to the egg and mix well 5. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in frying pan over medium heat 6. Place the bread cubes into the pan, fry till golden – stir frequently during cooking 7. Ensure the bread spread out evenly, then pour the egg mixture into the pan 8. Turn heat to low, cover and cook for 3 minutes till the egg is cooked through 9.
