Deep Fried Potato Crisp Chicken Drumsticks (Chinese Style Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 500g Chicken Drumsticks 2 Eggs 50g Plain Flour 100 Plain Potato Chips 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce 10g Ginger 10g Ground Black Pepper Salt To Taste Method: 1. Chop the ginger into thin threads 2. Make 2 slashes across both sides of the drumsticks 3. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl 4. Add light soy sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, black pepper and pinch of salt 5. Mix all together and then leave to marinate for an hour 6. Place the crisps in a plastic bag, crash until coarse 7. Break the eggs into a bowl and mix well 8. Dip the drumsticks in the flour - ensure an even coverage, and then dip in the egg mixture - ensure an even coverage 9. Place the drumsticks into the bag with coarse crisps and shake well to ensure they are coated with crisps pieces 10. Heat 1-litre oil in the wok over medium heat 11. Place the drumsticks into hot oil, turn heat to low, deep fry for 10 to 12 minutes each side (or until cooked through) - gently turning them halfway through cooking 12.
