Shrimp & Pork Meatballs on Tofu (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 400g Tofu 100g Raw Prawns 250g Minced Pork ½ Tsp Light Soy Sauce 30g Chives 1 Carrot 2 Tsp Oyster Sauce 1 Tsp Sugar Small Bunch Coriander 1 Tbsp Cornflour 3 Tbsp water mixture 150ml - 200ml chicken stock (or water) Salt to Taste Method: 1. Finely chop the chives and chop carrot into small cubes 2. Roughly chop coriander 3. Chop the prawns till very fine 4. Place minced pork in a mixing bowl, add soy sauce, a pinch of salt and chives. mix well. 5. Add the mushy prawns to the bowl and mix well 6. Cut tofu into 1cm in thickness and 3cm squares 7. Place tofu onto a dish in single layer 8. Take 1 Tbsp meat mixture into your hand, roll into a smooth ball 9. Place the ball onto a tofu square. Repeat with the rest 10. Place into a steamer and steam for 10 to 15 minutes after water is boiled. Turn off the heat when finishing 11. Meanwhile, place stock in pan and bring to the boil 12. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, carrot cubes, sugar and salt. bring to the boil again 13. Add coriander, pour in the cour flour and water mixture and stir. Cook until liquid is thicken 14.
