Stir Fry Spicy Squid Recipe (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 150g Squid 50g Celery 6 Dried Chillies Small Bunch Coriander 4 Cloves Garlic 15g Ginger 2 Small Onions 1 Tbsp Sichuan Peppercorn 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine 3 Tbsp Cornflour Salt to Taste Method: Slice the garlic, ginger & onions Roughly chop the chillies & coriander Cut celery into 5cm lengths & then into thin threads Open the squid, then using a knife scrape the inside Cut the squid into 0.5cm thin threads, place in mixing bowl Sprinkle with cornflour & mix, ensuring an even coverage Place the squid into half a litre of hot oil Deep fry for a minute, then remove & drain Place the celery in the same hot oil Deep fry for 10 seconds, then remove & drain Heat 1 Tbsp of oil & add the Sichuan Peppercorn Add the garlic, ginger, onions & chillies Stir-fry for 15 seconds Add the squid & celery then stir Add cooking wine, soy sauce & salt, then stir Transfer onto a dish, garnish with the coriander & serve If you would like my latest recipes, you can subscribe, its free, and you'll be kept up-to-date with all my Asian dishes: http://www.youtube.com/c/XiaosKitchen...
