Thai Chicken Fried Rice Recipe (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 400g Chicken Breasts 400g pre-cooked cold rice 60ml peanut oil 1 medium onion 3 cloves garlic 2 green chilli peppers 1 Tbsp brown sugar 2 medium red sweet peppers (350g – 400g) 200g green beans 2 Tbsp fish sauce 200g Thai basil leaves Salt to taste Methods: 1. Finely chop the onion, garlic, chilli peppers. 2. Roughly chop the green beans and slice the peppers thinly. 3. Cut chicken into small cubes. 4. Heat peanut oil in a wok. 5. Add onion, garlic, chilli and stir-fry for 2 minutes. 6. Add sugar and stir-fry for a minute until dissolved. 7. Add chicken and stir-fry for 5-8 minutes until light brown. 8. Add the sweet pepper, green beans and stir-fry for 3 – 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked. 9. Add rice, fish sauce and stir-fry for 5 minutes until rice is heated through, add basil and toss. 10.Transfer to a dish and serve.
