Lettuce & Tofu in Oyster Sauce (Chinese Vegetarian Stir-Fry Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 400g Tofu (Frozen) 160g Lettuce 4 Cloves Garlic 1 Spring Onion 10g Ginger 1 Tsp Ground White Pepper 4 Tbsp Oyster Sauce 50ml Chicken Stock 1 Tbsp Sugar 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil Salt to Taste Method: 1. Finely chop the garlic, ginger and spring onion 2. Cut the lettuce into bite-size pieces 3. Cut frozen tofu into small chunks 4. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a wok over high heat 5. Add the ginger, garlic and spring onion 6. Fry for a few seconds 7. Add oyster sauce and white pepper, then stir 8. Add the tofu, stir-fry for a minute 9. Add the sugar and stock, stir fry for a minute 10. Add lettuce and stir-fry for 30 seconds 11. Add the sesame oil, salt and stir 12.
