Stir Fry Pork & Carrot (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 250g Pork Fillet 3 Carrots 3 Cloves Garlic ½cm Ginger 2 Spring Onions 1 Egg White 2 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp Cornflour ½ Tsp Ground Red Pepper 20ml Stock 1 Tsp Sugar Salt to Taste Method: 1. Finely chop the garlic, ginger and spring onions. 2. Thinly slice the carrots. 3. Slice the pork fillet thinly and place in a mixing bowl 4. Add the egg white, soy sauce and cornflour into the mixing bowl. 5. Mix ingredients together then leave to stand for 10 minutes 6. Place the pork into half a litre of hot oil and fry for 2 minutes then remove and drain. 7. Place sliced carrots into the same oil and fry for a minute, remove and drain 8. In 1 Tbsp of oil, fry the garlic, ginger, spring onions, ground red pepper and fry for few seconds 9.Add the pork, carrot, stock and sugar.
